Evening,

 

I just got a notification that I need to update/check my banking details - I have an issue with my current bank and need to change the details over to my husband’s bank account, though it will not let me change the name in the bank account details.

Since an SMS just came through saying the number will be blocked on Monday 13th of November 2023, on a Saturday evening - just two days before this happens, I kind of need to get this sorted urgently, as the phone is used for not only personal calls - but calls from work.

Please, can anyone advise on what to do?

Okay, now I have managed to successfully transfer to a new contract owner - but now since the new owner had to sign up and take over the payment, the old account is no longer accessible? Meaning, I can no longer view my previously paid invoices etc.

 

Can someone assist?

Have also seen that the phone payment (for the mobile device) will still be paid for by one account, which is now no longer accessible!?

The contract has transferred successfully, but the contract for the phone itself has not?

Please excuse my late response to your questions.

If the bank details are to be changed to a person other than the contract holder, he or she must issue a written direct debit authorization. You can use this form for this: Änderung der Bankverbindung.

This also applies to installment contracts, e.g. for a smartphone.

A change of contract owner is not possible for installment contracts.

If you need any of your old invoices, please let us know which ones you require.
