I bought a new O2 homespot unlimited and there was an automatic debit of 5EUR (for the router) although it says ‘Rabatt auf hardware’.Anybody else faced this too?
Another question I have is regarding the payment of the Grundgebuhr (39.99 in my case), how does it work with paying this? Should I pay it to a separate bank account or will that also be an automatic debit.

welcome to our community. It is alright that you face a discount on the homespot on your invoice because the device is for free in this tariff. If you order a hardware with o2 it is a separate installment plan. It is not allowed to credit any discounts on this plan so we have to do so on your mobile contract.
The basic charge for the tariff will be debited each month. You don’t need to transfer anything.
