My HomeSpot and SIM card were delivered on Saturday. I activated it and the internet worked as intended (HomeSpot M), and then Sunday morning I woke up and  there’s no connection. The 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz lights are blue and I’m able to connect, but no data. The LTE/3G light is flashing red. I’ve tried resetting it time and time again, to no avail. I need internet for my classes and this is having a negative impact on my grades. Your website claims there’s no outage in Potsdam.

Hi @kwdavis

thanks for your patience and welcome to our English community.

Did you already try to contact our technical support by sending an inquiry via o2 Livecheck You just need to fill out the complete address and press on the button “Ich bin nicht einverstanden”. Then our technicians will contact you by SMS as soon as possible.

I hope that our technicians can find out what is wrong.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

It seems that I have a similar issue, even though the O2 says my simcard is activated, I cannot login to WLAN with the given password after inserting the simcard in my homespot as directed by the video.

My German is also not so good to call O2 in Germany.

I look forward to your response,

Thank you,

Hallo,

I found the solution. You must go to 192.168.1.1 on your laptop or phone when selecting your O2 network and enter the Homespot password written beneath the device, enter the PIN and you should be able to connect. If still not connected, refresh the window that is open.

All the best,

Hi @kwdavis :relaxed:

can we still assist you or is your homespot working properly now?

Best regards,

Michi

Thanks for the tip @Climbing_Scholar :relaxed:
