extend the contract


Hello O2 team,

I would like to extend the contract. My current contract expires on 23.07.2021.

  1. How to subscribe to O2 Free M (14,99 € monthly) offer automatically once when my current contract expires?
  2. If I buy now, will the new contract starts already from the day I buy or once when my current contract expires?

Regarding your questions:

  1. How to subscribe to O2 Free M (14,99 € monthly) offer automatically once when my current contract expires?

There is no automatic option to switch to a contract with a reduced price after the initial 2 years, I’m afraid.

Without a cancellation or extension, the contract would be extended for another year for the standard price (29,99 € per month for the Free M, excluding optional packs like o2 TV).

The contract extension would start right away, deleting the remaining time of the old contract period, the tariff change would be handled on the next day :hugging:

 

We’ll gladly take a look at your contract to see if we can offer you the Free M for this specific price.

We would send the offer via mail, is your email adress in “Mein o2” still correct?

Yes, my email address is right. I hope you sent the offer email to XXXXX@gmail.com.  I haven’t received any offer email. Checked in spam too. I usually receive all email from O2 to my Inbox without any problem.  Can you send the offer email again or maybe you can post the offer link here?

That´s strange that the offer did not arrive at your e-mail-inbox. Yes, we sent the offer to the e-mail-address with which you are also registered here in our Community and at “Mein o2”.

Hi @o2_Tobias ,

 

I extended my contract to “02 Free S” yesterday (09.06.21) after talking to one of your colleague over phone. However when I logged in Mein 02 app it shows as “02 Free M”. Why is plan different from what I agreed over call and email? I would like to continue my new contract only if it is “02 Free S”.

I guess that everything is already clarified for you, as I only see your contract “o2 Free S”. Please be aware of the fact that it takes always 24 hours, until the tariff-change is done. Therefore, you received today another confirmation by e-mail with the correct tariff-plan.
