Dear o2,
I am long time o2 customer - actually since beginning of o2 in Germany. Yesterday I have got a new iPhone and ordered Ersatz-eSIM. I tried to install it on a new phone and it was marked as successful but was not actually installed. Unfortunately this action deactivated my eSIM on old iPhone. In panic I messed up password when logging to my O2 app and locked my online account.
So now I have a situation with no way to solve by myself:
- No eSim active on both old and new iPhones
- Locked O2 online account - I cannot change password as I cannot get any SMS
- O2 online account is still locked after 24 hours.
- Without access to O2 account I cannot order new eSIM
- I cannot activate it anyway as I cannot receive any SMS….
I talked to Hotline yesterday twice and was told:
- “wait 2-3 hours for activation” - did not work
- “wait 24 hours for online account unlock” - did not work either.
I have a long planned trip on Monday and cannot do that without working phone…
If some good soul from O2 could help me I would be very thankful!
