Hi

I am new to Germany and working in IT profession. I would like to take a mobile with contract. Could you please answer below queries. 

1. Can I cancel contract before the agreed contract term? 

2. If cancellation is possible, please consider below scenario and help me to understand what all amounts or charges I need to pay during early cancellation 

 "For instance, If I took a mobile contract this month and it could end during December 2025. But due to some reasons I had to leave Germany in between contract term(let's say January 2025)"

In this case, what all amounts I need to be paid? 

Can I return mobile and get refund for that? 

If i am willing to keep that mobile with me, how you will calculate final amounts to be paid? 

 

Can anyone please answer my query with detailed information including final amount calculation. Thanks you in advance for your response and support.

In case of you leaving Germany before the normal contract duration is up, you can end the contract early. With a mobile phone that you are paying in installments for you’d then pay the still outstanding ones.

Do I need to pay outstanding amount only for mobile or O2 will also charge network tariff for remain months? Also will there be any additional charges for early contract cancellation?

in case of an early cancellation because you are leaving Germany, you will pay one monthly rate for this.
