Hey, i am 5 months down on a 24 month contract with o2 and i have moved abroad without an abmeldung (de-registration certificate)

Can i play the money for the remaining 19 months in advance and close the contract?

They charge me 17 bucks every month so can i pay the remaining 17x19 Euros and be done with it?

Please help me out in this regard.

At this point in time i am unable to get an de-registration certificate from the city registration office as i am not physically present in Germany.

i do not want to avail extraordinary contract cancellation, i will pay the money for all the months pending in instantly to cancel the contract.

You are not registrated in Germany anymore, right?

@o2_Juliane I have seen your guides, i have left Germany but while leaving i forgot to de-register myself.

so i dont have that certificate.

so i am asking you if there is anything else that i can do? i have come back to a country where i am a citizen and am currently unemployed.

can i pay the money for entire 19 months left in one go and end the contract?

its all about the money so please take the money and close it.

I have finally received my abmeldung today morning but i had sent a descriptive email to impressum@cc.o2online.de that i do not have a registration certificate and sent them some documents to cancel contract.

 

Now that i have the de-registration certificate what do i do?

do i have to send printed documents mentioned in the guide above to Nuremberg or an email will work?

@o2_Matze Hey, in the email i sent to the customer care i said that i do not have a De-Registration certificate but today morning i received the de-registration certificate.

where do i send this certificate?

I am moving away to France.I would like to end my contract but I havent gotten my degistration approval paper from Bürgerbüro yet. Can I cancel my contract with the electricity bill of my new address where my name on it?

Unfortunately, a deregistration certificate is required for early, extraordinary termination. I hope you can receive it quickly.

It is also possible to submit your cancellation online: Ihr Kündigungswunsch | o2 (o2online.de)

You can also upload documents there. Please select “extraordinary” and “moving abroad” in the dropdown:
