Hi 02 Community,

 

hopefully someone can help me regarding the process of getting a replacement sim card and deactivating my old sim card after my phone was stolen last night.

The theft has been reported and a case file opened. I will contact my insurance company tomorrow (today is a public holiday) in order to start the process of getting funds for a replacement phone.

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If your SIM card needs to be blocked, you can also contact our emergency hotline on Sundays and public holidays: 089-6666 300 44. The agents may not speak English, so you may need to have a German-speaking person with you.

It ist also possible to have your SIM-card blocked online: https://www.o2online.de/service/sim-karte. There you can also order a replacement card.
