Hey, 

i just moved out of germany and my o2 Mobile contract ends in September 2021, i have sent the note of termination but the place that i live has no signal for o2 sim card to make a call to verify the termination.

I would like to terminate my number , 017xxxxxxxxx24 please guide me appropriately.

If your contract term ends in September you are too late with the termination nortice (3 months to the end of the term). Have you left Germany permanently? No I haven’t left Germany permanently but i just need to end the billing contract on my number, if i am late with the notice what do i do now?

You don’t need to reply twice. You can terminate the contract to September 2022, but if you have any discounts they will expire in September this year and you will pay the agreed standard price for the next twelve months. Alternatively you can extend the contract for two years and obtain new discounts.

If you do intend to terminate the contract, I would recommend doing so in writing.


I am currently abroad, could a email or fax work out? 
if not then please help me with the procedure.

if this doesn’t work can i change the tariff plan online so that i dont get charged a lot.

Regarding your other question: if you want to change to a smaller tariff without a renewal, then the change often costs a certain fee. In addition, you don't get any new discounts on the new tariff, so you pay the normal basic fee. We would have to check the change (whether it is possible at all) and the conditions for you in advance. Which tariff would be of interest?
In the case of an active contract extension by 24 months, we would also have to check in advance which conditions would be feasible!

Hello, I would like to terminate my o2 contract as i have moved out of the country and will never come back.

My contract started on 

1st August 2021 and will terminate on 1st August 2023

please tell me the steps involved, i am ready to pay the difference amount.
