complaint o2 contact

Dear all,

I am starting to believe that o2 deliberately mislead customers to get them to sign contracts.

About a month ago, I was convinced by an o2 representative in the o2 shop in Essen to enter a contract. The contract according to him, stipulated a monthly fee of 35 euros, due to a campaign that was ongoing . I asked for a copy of the contract , to which I was told I would receive it by email.  Upon receipt of the contract however,  I noticed that the bonus was not included, so I went back to the store and he highlighted a part in the contract that showed the discount will later on me added and I should wait for my first invoice. First invoice comes and yet again, the discount was missing.  At this point he contacted o2 center and reassured me that I will receive a refund. 2 weeks later I receive a call from o2 representative telling me that the employee at the store had made a mistake,  and that I was not eligible for the discount, she advised that I should go back to the store and have the contract cancelled.  Went back to the store just to find out it no longer exists.  Since then I have been trying to get my contract annulled only to receive a message today telling me that I should have been aware that I was not eligible for the bonus because I signed the contract . Really o2?

The bonus was printed in the contract that you signed or not? What was the name of the bonus?

O2 vorteil

Hi @Sumz

welcome to our English community. I understand that you feel mislead after you ordered a contract in one of our shops. Please be assured that this is not our intention.

In order to check what happened and to offer you a good solution, I have just sent a private message to you via @o2_Support. Please reply there to my request.

Thanks a lot.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Dear @Sumz ,

It is a little difficult to help you here, because it is a contract that was made in a store. Store contracts may only be changed by the store. If the corresponding store is no longer available, you can go to another store. Please note that there are pure o2 stores, but also partner stores. Depending on what kind of store it was, you would have to find a suitable one to present your request.
But first of all I reopened the ticket with the complaint and noted that the 20 Euro discount you were given was not enough and that you wanted to have the full discount. The colleagues from the department should get in touch with you.

Kind regards,

Andrea

Hi @Sumz

after a month time, I would like to come again to you.

As I see, our shop department did everything they could to make your contracts cheaper.

I am happy to see that for the tariff “o2 Free Unlimited Max” your discounts amount now to the 50%-discount that was previously agreed on.

I understand that you are not completely satisfied with our decision, but this is the solution that we can offer to you at the moment.

I hope you have a nice weekend.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
