changing contract to cheaper one

Hello,

In my o2 app, it says that I can already prolong my contract even though I have 1 more year to end. When I click, it only shows more expensive options. I would like to have a cheaper tariff with less internet but new phone.

I am currently paying 54,99 and I see offer in your website for o2 customers for iphone 15 pro max with 25 gb for 59,99/36 months.

I am interested in:

having a new phone (iphone 15 pro/promax or pixel8) with less gb but in same total price,

or downgrading my tariff to 25gb depending on your offer.

thanks

Moin,

with in the 24 Month you are only able to change to a more expensive contract.

If you like to pay lesser, than you have to wait until the 24 Month ends.

Hello @Calliope ,

welcome to the o2 Community 💙.

There are several factors that play into what kind of options are offered for extending your contract. The remaining duration being one of them. We also can’t offer you anything cheaper than what you are currently using at this point in time. As the end of your regular contract duration approaches that will probably change, so I’d suggest waiting some more and occasionally checking what you are being offered in the app.

Kind regards, Sven
