Hello, 

I am O2 customer for more than 2 years and I am planning to switch to post paid contract, mainly because I saw in the O2 app that I have a discount in the plan of 50%.

 

When I tried to make the checkout of this plan, I received this message:

Auf dem aktuell verwendeten Account ist kein Vertrag mit Laufzeit hinterlegt. Bitte loggen Sie sich mit einem entsprechenden Account ein, um die Produkte mit Bestandskundenvorteilen kaufen zu können.

 

Is there a way to make this change?
The thing is that I would like to maintain my phone number too, I can't change my number now.

You can only order a Partnerkarte if you have already a postpaid contract. You can`t order a partnerkarte with your prepaid card.

But: You can get the “50% off” offer if you use a priority code. Ask ypur friends or someone else, who ist already an o2 customer. They can give you the coad an than you can order a postpaid contract with this code. After activation the new sim card, you can move your phone number from your prepaid card to your new postpaid contract for free.

@tearsbeforecrying is right. You can only use the discount for a partnercard with a postpaid contract. If you decide to change to this type of contract you can take your prepaid mobile phone number with you. No need to worry to loose it. It is a good idea to ask a friend for a coupon code to save some money.

I talked with a friend and got the code, now I could sign the new contract!
