Hallo,

 

I recently started a HomeSpot contract and have the connection working. I am trying to register with Mein O2 but it is asking for the phone number for the HomeSpot SIM. I do not have this phone number. The only information I have been provided with the phone number had the majority of the number redacted with xxx.

 

Is there a way I can get the phone number for the HomeSpot SIM? This appears to be a similar situation to the one here:

Which router are u using? Normaly you should be able to receive short messages.
One was sent, during the activation process and should be available in the surface of the router.

Thank you for responding. I have the HomeSpot 2 LTE. I checked in the router and there are 2 SMS messages in the Inbox. They are identical, both reading:

Guten Tag, bitte überprüfen Sie Ihr E-Mail-Postfach und schließen Sie die Bestätigung Ihrer E-Mail-Adresse ab. Ihr o2 Team

I’m not able to see the the phone number that these messages were sent to.

good to see that you are receiving short messages, unlucky that there wasn´t the message with the number available. 
I sent you a private message for legitmation reasons, after this process i will be allowed to provide you with the number.
