It’s been 1 year since I moved out of Germany and I am still not able to cancel my mobile contract… My contract termination date is 12/26/2019.

I tried to reach hotline and there is no English option to reach a customer representative. I tried to send a fax to an international number to cancel but there is no response.

I was hoping to use this platform to be able to communicate with a customer representative. Please give me an option to cancel my contract.

Hi Alex, thank you for the quick response.

As described in the link you have shared, I managed to “set my priority notice” on the online portal. I got an email with a code. As far as I can translate the automated email response; I need to call O2 by phone to confirm the termination request which I can not because I can not speak German.

Also, I need to send my  “Abmeldung” and “Kündigungsvormerkung” for immediate cancellation. Is there a way that I can send this via e-mail or via an online platform?

I left Germany on 19.11.2018 and continued to pay my mobile bills every month since then. I could not find a way to contact an O2 representative. I won’t request a refund for the past already paid months since I had a phone contract with it. However, I noticed that my contract has been extended automatically for another year.

 

To summarize, I need your help on the following points;

  1. Is there a way for me to confirm termination by e-mail?
  2. Is there a way for me to send my “Abmeldung” and “Kündigungsvormerkung” documents by email?
  3. Please contact me and help me to cancel my contract.
