cancelation / revoking mobile number contract


Hello, 

Could you please tell me what is the notice period for cancelation of postpaid contract with O2?

Also is it possible to cancel through the email,? as i have concluded contract online last year and paid additional 39.99 € to have ability to cancel any time. 

I am using this way just to inform my self about details.

Your contract can be terminated in due time at the end of the contract (February 2025).

So what for i have paid additional 39.99€ on my first bill, does it applies same rule if you leaving Germany and where O2 is not supported ?

The € 39.99 is the connection charge.

If you are leaving Germany you can terminate with one months’ notice. You will need to submit your deregistration from Germany and proof of residence in another country.

Deregistration i will have couple days before i leave, and prior leaving will have to close banking account which does not have a sense having 30 days notice when all necessary paperwork i will not have until end.

Then you will have to pay the final invoices by some other means. It is not about what makes sense to you but about the contract you have with o2 and the fact that you want to terminate it early. Even without the month’s notice you would still receive a final invoice after the contract ends, so you would be in the same position as regards your bank account.

Then i guess the easiest way is to transfer contract on another person if that is possible ?

if you have someone that is willing to continue on with your contract, then it can be transfered over to that person. You can find the option to start the process within the mein o2 area of your contract.

Even if contract was concluded under Friends & Family option?

I think i red somewhere that if it used F&F code it cant be transfer made under same conditions for another person .

Yes, that's right, these discounts cannot be transferred with a contract transfer.
However, new discounts can be requested as part of a contract extension.
However, this is only possible after the contract has been taken over by the new contract holder.
