I have recently changed my tariff to “O2 Mobile M”. Without selecting anything, I noticed in my contract that I also received an “O2 TV M 24M” subscription.

I already canceled this for my previous tariff and in „Mein O₂“ under TV & Extras, it says “läuft bis zum 12.03.2024”. But the new contract contains a 4.99Euros per month for TV subscription. Is this going to get renewed for my new contract? I don’t watch TV and don’t want to pay for it at all.

I have 14 days of cancellation period for my new tariff. could someone from O2 support check if I have to pay for O2 TV in my new contract again? If that’s the case, I prefer to cancel it.

If the date of cancellation which you see in your Mein o2 login for your contract with the newly changed tariff is the 12.03.2024 it could be that o2 TV has been ordered 12 or 24 months ago and will run out in March.

Does it show in your Mein o2 if the o2 has a running time of 12 or 24 months?

Thanks for the response. Yes. It was a subscription that I initially had and will expire on March 12th (as displayed in Mein o2).

However, the new subscription contract also mentions the O2 TV in it. I was concerned if the O2 TV subscription is going to be auto re-newed after March 12th

After March 12th you can cancel o2 TV via your Mein o2 login and it will then end the day after 🙂
