Can't update my bank account for direct debit in the website anymore - what to do?

Hello!

Today I updated my bank account details in the debit direct option to the most trustful bank account that I have.

However I noticed that if I try to check my details or edit it again now I get the message:

Dear customer, your bank details have been changed several times recently. For security reasons, it is currently not possible to change it again. If you have any questions, contact customer care.

It is true that I had to change the bank account multiple times throughout the last 6 months, as I started as an expat in Germany and only had access to a better online banking system after I got my residence permit - changing from Wise to Nuri to N26.

Now what do I do if in the future I need to change my bank account details again? Will I be unable forever? Will I have to cancel my direct debit and top up through SMS?

It is not a problem for now, but I am afraid of having this limitation for the future.

How long do I have to wait to be able to change my bank details again?

Another time - stop posting your concern at several places in our community.
Stay in this thread:

@o2_Jessica I am very sorry but I tried to delete the other question and I could not.

This one is different from the other issue, could you please help me with that?

The other question is related to app instability, this one is specific for updating the bank details - not a problem with the app error, but not being able to update my bank details anymore for security reasons:

Is it possible to check this?

I will close the other threads, but this one have to remain.

Thank you.

Hello @shelly.leal,

thank you for your contribution.
How often have you changed your bank details in the past?
Generally, temporary locks are intended to protect users from unlawful interference. Are you dealing with a prepaid issue?

Kind regards
Jessi 😊
