I’ve just arrived in Germany and gotten an O2 simcard however I can’t seem to download the Mein O2 app from the App Store. The store says it is not available in my country. Previously I was in Singapore and that is where my App Store is registered. The problem is I can’t change my country without cancelling my 1 year Apple TV subscription (not something I’d like to do). Why is the meinO2 app geolocked? is there a way to download it without going through the App Store?

Why would you lose your Apple TV subscription? You can change the location for Apple TV as well. Or is this something to do with a contract you had in Singapore?
I’m not sure why but that is what my phone says. “You have one or more Apple TV subscripts which must be cancelled before you can change your country or region”.

But I guess it should be possible for you to use “Mein o2” from our website. Just feel free to register at “Mein o2” by using this link: Registration at "Mein o2" with your mobile phone-number

Hello so I have a similar issue whereby I want the O2 app as I now live in Germany but I work in Luxembourg. I have just moved over the border from Luxembourg (and now subscribe to O2 DSL) and therefore all my banking finance etc is there too and I do not intend to change it.
Google Play though will not let you change you location to another country if your financing is not in the same country. I am not going to set up a special account in Germany just so I can have the O2 app.
So my question is - can you supply the APK to download the app outside Google Play? Or can someone download it? Or is there an international version even?
OK so I found I can download the Mein O2 app for Android outside Google Play via “APKPure” version 7.29.1 is this ok? safe? The latest version?

I’m afraid we do not provide the APK by itself.
The only official sources for our App are the Apple AppStore and the Google PlayStore. Downloading the app from a different source like APK-pages is definitely not recommended, since we are not providing those sites with the files, nor do we host or support the app there.
The mobile page of “Mein o2” offers a similar package in terms of features; would that be an option for you instead of the App?
