can't call Switzerland from France

Hello all

I am currently in France (under Bouygue network) and try to call a number in Switzerland. Unfortunately, my contract does not allow me to call that swiss number... Why?

I took an extra international call for 4,99eur but still the same issue.

What is the problem here? What should I do?

Thank you

Are you able to make calls to other numbers? Is it an ordinary geographical number or a service number? What message to you hear when you try to call Switzerland? Have you tried other providers in France?

Yes, I can call any other numbers (fench or german mobile, french landline) but for some reason when calling Switzerland normal numbers yesterday a french voice said that my contract didn't allow me to call this number.

Today I switched to other providers (orange, free...), now outgoing calls barred when calling swiss numbers and no problem for calling other numbers to France.

Also, my extra 60mn call packet for zone 2 is now activated but still . No luck... Very frustrating

Oh and I have no calls baring activated. Doesn't look like it anyway

Hello @mimich,

I had a look into this and I think I may have found a possible reason. I contacted an internal departement to have a look at this, I am sutre you will be able to make international calls soon :-)

Regards,

Lars
