Call from India to Germany

Hello,

 

I would like to make a call from India to a German number. I would like to get some help on finding some plans/tariff for lower rates. I have an O2 prepaid sim.

Never use o2 mobile data in India!!! It´s very expensive.
Your home WiFi is free of charge.  Recommendation: Activate Flight Modus and switch WLAN ON to talk via WLAN-calling.

    If you have wlan use Wlan Calling, than your call is billed like you were in Germany.

    We do not offer special rates for calls from India to Germany. 

    Just have a look here: https://www.o2online.de/service/ausland-roaming/ India belongs to Zone 4

    Thanks for the suggestion. By ‘activate Fight Modus’, did you mean to turn on ‘Flight Mode’? 

    Wouldn’t I need an active prepaid taife/plan on my sim to make the call(after turning on the WLAN calling option)?

    Wouldn’t I need an active prepaid taife/plan on my sim to make the call(after turning on the WLAN calling option)?

    correct - a active SIM and a tarif plan (prepaid or postpaid) is required.

    correct - In addition, WiFi calling must also be activated in the telephony app.
