Being charged for two price


Hello. I purchased a phone and sim card online from O2 on November. It should be total 52,27 euro as written on the bill I have to pay every month. But why I am also keep being charged 39,50 euro every month?

Presumably the 39.50 is for the phone and the 52.27 is for the mobile contract. Is it the first invoice? In that case you will also have had to pay the connection fee. Please look again at the invoice to see exactly what you have been charged for.

No, the invoice just shows 52,27. That’s why I don’t understand why 39,50 also deducted from my bank.

The monthly instalments for the phone are separate from this invoice for the mobile contract. It is therefore correct that you have two payments each month. Did you look at the invoice for the mobile contract? It will tell you item by item exactly what you have been charged for. You can copy the information from the invoice here (without personal information) if you do not understand it yourself.

I now understand that 39,50 is for the smartphone.

But I don’t understand why I have to pay 52,57 for the tariff when I only applied for 19,99 euro for online package.

What does it mean? Why it has to be paid every month? I chose the cheap one I thought I can afford. 

Meanwhile, I chose to buy the phone and the package because the first time I saw the calculation of mobile phone purchase and internet package were affordable to me.
