Hello,

I have a contract, eSim in my current phone. I bought a new phone, but can’t transfer eSim to it, it says “Transfer not supported”. I contacted the hotline and they said that I can get an additional eSim, connect my new phone to it, and then delete the eSim from my old phone. But I don’t understand, how can I get the additional eSim, the app is in German (my German is too weak) and I couldn’t find the option there. How can I add eSim to my new phone?

may I ask which o2 tariff you are currently using?

There are a few different ways to get an eSIM. You can go to an o2 shop near you and have an eSIM activated there.

Alternatively, you can order a new Multicard via the customer portal. Once you have received it, you can convert it into an eSIM.

Depending on which o2 tariff you are on, a Multicard may be free of charge or subject to a fee.
