Hello, I have canceled the contract on 29.02.2024 via the online form and I have received an email that my cancellation is being checked and will be processed. Does the cancellation process require a fee? How do I check that it has been processed? And how long does it take for the cancellation? because on 31.03.2024 I was no longer in Germany
Cancellation is free of charge. Is the cancellation visible in the customer portal?

I searched for it with the keyword "o2 kündigen" then I scrolled down until there was "hier kündigen" then there there would be a cancellation option available via telephone or online form
Hello
welcome to the o2 Community .
Did you have a Flex contract with us or did you send in an extraordinary cancellation request? With a normal cancellation the contract gets terminated at the end of it’s contract duration and from what you wrote you’ll be leaving the country at the end of this month.
Kind regards, Sven

Hello, I choose regular contract termination. So will my contract end this March? because actually my contract ends in 2026, but I have to immediately terminate this contract now. Do I have to send the contract termination form again?
Hello
as the people that process your cancellation request will not be aware that you are leaving the country and that the contract should be ending at the end of the month, unless you directly state this and then send in the correct form of request for this, please send in the form again and make sure that you are selecting “außerordentliche Kündigung”. Because as it stands with a normal cancellation your contract would be running until 2026 then.
Kind regards, Sven

Thank you very much for your help, I will resubmit my contract cancellation form. How long will it take for my contract cancellation to be processed? And do I still have to pay for this March? or the cancellation process require a fee?
Hello
as Bumer already wrote there is no cost attached to a cancellation. An extraordinary cancellation of the contract takes a bit longer than just a regular one, but I would expect that you will get a response soon enough, if the contract will then be deactivated at the end of the month or maybe a bit into April I can’t say at this point.
Kind regards, Sven

Hello
I have sent a contract cancellation form for reasons of moving abroad, but they asked me to send the Abmeldebestätigung. I am not a German citizen and I do not have a permanent residence yet. I will return to my country at the end of this month. Are there any documents other than those mentioned that I can send?
Thank you for your help
Hello
do you have anything else that confirms your stay here and also that you are now returning home? It doesn’t always necessarily have to be the documentation of your de-registration here.

Is the zulassung from the university a valid document? because I'm here to take exams at several studienkolleg, and last month I received news that I was accepted at a university in my country. And as proof that I have to return to my country, can it be a plane ticket or proof that I was accepted at a university in my country?
Thank you for your help
Hello,
please help me with this.
I have filled out the contract cancellation form because I have to return to my country. I don't have a permanent residence in Germany because I came here for the Studienkolleg exam for a month. But they asked me to send Abmeldebestätigung from Germany and Anmeldebescheinigung. Are there any alternatives besides this document? is zulassung from the university strong evidence?
I've also sent an email directly to them asking about this but they haven't answered yet
Thank you for your help.

Why did you made a 24 month contract for 1 month in Germany?

Hello, I want to cancel my contract but I don't have Abmeldebestätigung because I'm here living with my relative and I'm leaving Germany for good to go back to living with my parents. I'm also still a student and don't have a job yet. Are there any other documents I can send to prove that I am returning to my country permanently besides the ones requested?
Please help me because i’ve try to contact o2, they just told me to wait

I don't understand your argument. It doesn't matter how, where and with whom you live in Germany. According to §17 of the Federal Registration Act, you must register with the registration authority when you move in and deregister when you move out.
Hello
Do I understand correctly that you have already contacted customer service in writing? You will then be informed in writing which documents are still accepted.
Kind regards, Ines.
