Hi

I am trying to upgrade my DSL tariff but It is impossible to do this from my customer account. Does anyone have an idea how to do this upgrade? I also try calling to the customer service line, but no one answer. There is any customer email to request this upgrade?

Thank you

@Diego1020 what tariff you have in the moment and what tariff/speed you want in the future? Did you have an own router or an o2 rent one? What model of router you use?

@Joe Doe Currently I have My home S without contract tariff, and I want to upgrade to My home M without contract tariff as well. I have my own router from O2 HomeBox 2 6441.

@Diego1020 Have you online check your address if you can have a 50/10 Mbit VDSL? I understand right, that you have Flex tariff without any contract term? If you adress OK for 50/10 you can make only an upgrade over the hotline or here over an o2 moderator. (time for an o2 moderator up to 7 days)

I strongly prefer a Flex tariff without any contract term for you. Tariff change Is without any fee for you.

One last thing. In the new tariff is no landline to Mobil flat anymore. But can book this extra for 4,99 Euro monthly if you this.

@Joe Doe Thank you for your help. Yes, I already checked my address and there is no problem to upgrade my DSL plan.

You know if there is any possibility to establish a direct contact with and o2 moderator? instead to wait a week.

Once again, thank you for your help with this issue.

@Diego1020 If you don't want wait for an o2 moderator try the o2 WhatsApp chat in Englisch.

And important. You can change from a flex to a flex tariff. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise

@Joe Doe Thank you

Hi o2 team

There is any o2 moderator to attend this request to upgrade my current DSL plan? I have tried to use the WhatsApp service, but again I don't have a positive answer.

Thanks in advance.

@Diego1020 One question: Over the Chat why don’t want make an upgrade from your old flex to a new flex tariff.

Hi @Diego1020

welcome to our English Community. Thanks for your patience. I regret that you were not successful in changing your tariff-plan from o2 my Home S Flex to o2 my Home M Flex in our WhatsApp-chat. What did they tell you as reason for the refusal?

But of course, now I am there for you. As you are not yet registered here with your landline-number, we first of all need to identify you here in our Community. Therefore, I will send you in the next minutes a private message from @o2_VVL. Please reply there to my request.

Afterwards, I will send an offer to you.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Hi @Diego1020

thanks for your details under @o2_VVL

As I see, you already ordered a tariff-change into the tariff “o2 my Home M Flex”.

That´s perfect! :hugging: The tariff-change will take place on 16th February 2021, so already tomorrow. Just have a look into your confirmation-e-mail that you received on 2nd February 2021.

Is everything clarified for you now?

If you have any further questions, just feel free to contact us here in our English Community.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Hi @o2_Tobias

Today at noon It was changed my plan, but unfortunately I don’t have internet service so far.

is there any additional configuration to be made?

Hello @Diego1020,

in many cases after the speed or other details of the tariff have changed it may be necessary to reset the router to factory default and set it up with new connection credentials. You will find all necessary information to set up the router in our online portal under Mein o2.

Regards,

Lars
