I've been busy with O2 for over a year and a half to het stable internet connection.

Most of the times it works. but when it doesn’t.. it’s really terrible. Whole day DSL break ups. 10 times in an hour is not crazy..

New Fritz!Box, telekom that changed cables and came three times. Factory resetting the modem a few times. New Cables in the house.. I’m tired of trying now..

Telekom was here today, tried to fix something, made it worse.. Ive got a DSL connection but no internet, PPPOE Timeout. Called o2 twice, and they said we will be contacted when they have time…..

In these times were working at home.. 2022.. A stable network isn’t that weird to ask for.

All these times that I’ve called with o2 I never got a financial compensation. I never got a 4G hotspot to use in downtimes. I never got something fixed within a few days… there is always an excuse.

I know this whole topic wont help, just hoping some technical person at o2 sees this and wants to check something out.

If so, let me know please.

Waiting for a quick respond.

send from my stable 4G connection from Vodafone because o2 cant deliver what they promise :)

Hello @Benjamin92-2562,

I am sorry that you are having these problems with your DSL connection, I would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

I have taken a closer look at the issue. According to our technical support, your trouble ticket is still ongoing and the solution to the problem is still open. At the moment the connection seems to be running again without any disconnects, can you confirm that?

A refund for the downtime can be requested online using this form after the problem has been resolved.

I am sorry that I don’t have an immediate solution for you. Please let us know if you have further questions.

Best regards

Giulia

Too bad it's still the same as before. Every few hours downtime. Not really acceptable..

Hello @Benjamin92-2562,

our colleagues are still on it, I am sure a solution will be found. I assume as the router was swapped you also swapped the cables and you are using only the cable that was delievered with the router, no extensions or additional hardware?

Do you maybe use some PLC- or PowerLAN-Adapter in your home? This may heavily interfere with a VDSL signal and should either be avoided or you should make sure that the firmware of such adapter is optimized for usage with a VDSL connection.

Regards,

Lars

I used both the original and my own cables

Using a ftp cat 6 0,5m cable as dsl cable mostly.
It's all the same

I don't use any powerline adapters. Even without any cables plugged in into the modem he loses the dsl connection sometimes.
You guys programmed it to restart the dsl connection every night. Helped for a few days but just now had a other dsl connection loss. So still no solution..
Thanks for the support.. Been a while till this happend.

Small update.. Today every hour 3 to 6 times dsl connection loss..
So not just one in a day.. Every 10 to 20 minutes..
See picture for proof

Hello @Benjamin92-2562,

sorry to hear the DSL connection keeps dropping :-/

I recommend to get in touch with our technical DSL departement so they can have a deeper look into this. I suggest calling from a mobile phone while being at home at the router, if you do not speak any german at all I suggest calling with a friend of yours who does so.

Regards,

Lars

Ive been calling about this problem for over a year.. what are they gonna do for me? I can keep calling but if nothing helps whats next? Again today.. every 5 minute there is a drop..

Hello @Benjamin92-2562,

even if this issues exists for a longer time, the contact with our technical department is the right way. Only if they can have a look into this it can change to the better. Just in case please also keep your contact mobile phone number up to date in Mein o2 since our technical departement will send an SMS if further information or any action is required.

Regards,

Lars
