Earlier this week I got in contact with o2 about changing the contact phone number registered on my MeinO2 account (my dutch phonenumber got forced into a german one by the registration system) because at the time I was checking my account info in regards to my land-line order. But around the same time that I received an email that my land-line request needed a phone adress I have been unable to login and/or unable to reach the English customer services hotline about either of the problems (either get disconnected immediately or told that number is no longer in operation).

Now luckily the wrong phone number thing has been resolved through the help of the community here (I assume because I CANT CHECK MY ACCOUNT) but after getting told to call the hotline to further progress my order I am stuck, because I cant login to see what step I need to take to finalize my router order and I cant call customer support to either help me login or to ask for order confirmation.

Has anyone experienced similar problems?

Why? I’m sure everyone is able to make call and has not experienced not being able to make a call.

@blablup Its not as much that I couldnt get into contact the times I needed, its that its been persisting for a week now. (And its not affecting my mood or opinion of o2 in positive way.) 


Dear @Rein_Kieb ,

you can only log into your My o2 account for the fixed network contract once it has been activated.

You should receive all the necessary information from us by email or letter.

The opening hours and the expected hotline occupancy can be found on the o2 website. Normally, every call is answered - but waiting times are to be expected.
