I have already sent a letter to O2 GmbH ( address: Telefonica O2 Germany GmbH & Co. OHG Kundenbetreuung 90345 Nürnberg) with my details and my new city registration certificate but did not receive any reply nor did they cancel my contract. The O2 filiale in my current city told me about this procedure.

I have been paying for past three months unnecessarily and would like to know about the solution. Please reply. thanking you in advance.

moving to new adress does not trigger a cancellation, not does it automatically qualify for one, I´m afraid.

You can still move the contract to the new adress, as my co-workers suggested via letter,

 

Just give them a call to provide them with the needed details.

If you don´t want to move the contract to the new adress, please let them know via phone or letter.

As we provide DSL at your new adress as well, your contract can not be cancelled immedeately. It will be cancelled by the end of the regular contract duration.

 

If you want to move your connection to your new adress please call our support.

 

You also have the possibility to transfer the contract to the next tenant in your old appartment.

But I already have a new connection at my place, I don't need that one anymore

unfortunately you have made a contract with a 24 month duration. It will be cancelled by October then. We can also ask for immedeate deactivation, but then the charges for the rest of the contract duration will be charged at once.

I did as told in the above message. I even recieved an email that I will recieve an invoice in 10 days on my new address but it has been a month already. I have also sent my router already and recieved a confirmation that it reached.

 

Can you please look into it again as I have not recieved the termination letter and the charge invoice.

You will receive -as Giulia told you- the last invoice with the remainig charges till october within the next two weeks.
