My appointment for internet connection was today. I’ve waited patiently in my apartment for the Telekom guy to arrive. He rang the door bell, answered him and told him i’ll go down right away. I did not find him downstairs, saw the Telekom car, he was sitting there and doing something with his phone. I decided to wait by the door because i thought maybe he was busy or talking to someone. Suddenly he drove off and i cant catch him anymore. Lo and behold what i found when i checked the status of the appoinment. 
 

Your technician was at your premises as stipulated but did not find you.
Confirmed via GPS from April 21, 2023 that your technician was on site.

So what should i do next?

He did not even enter the apartment. He was at the car. I’ve waited for him to come down as he was using his phone. Then he drove away. 


Just an additional info, there is an existing 1 und 1 connection in the apartment from the former tenant. It is still active and usable. But when he left, there is no connection anymore. He was not even inside my apartment. 


@Ez Mil No DSL Sync or no connection? And what router you want to use.


What do you mean? The DSL light from the Fritzbox from the existing 1 und 1 is suddenly blinking. There is no internet anymore. Does that mean my o2 dsl is activated?


@Ez Mil No. That DSL have cut. What is the exactly name of the Fritzbox or better AVM part number? Stand at the backside from the Fritzbox.

@Ez Mil Should work. The Power/DSL Led should not flash. You don’t have in the moment a (V)DSL. You must call the o2 hotline and ask why the Telekom technician drive away without making nothing at your apartment.


Yeah so I tried connecting to the internet hoping for a miracle that the Telekom guy did some telekinesis and activated my account from his car. I entered the username and password o2 sent me for activation but there is no internet connection. Now the active 1 und 1 was disconnected, and i have no internet at the moment. Good job. 


If Power is blinking than there is no way. Only the hotline can help U.


Got another question. I saw in My o2 app that i got free 200gb data. Clicked it, got a message, but it is not showing off in my details. Also, is it really free, will it automatically extend per month as long as i got no connection? As you can see in the picture it is still 20 gb. which is in my mobile tariff  

 


Hello @Ez Mil ,

the additional data volume only gets touched after you’ve spend the normal volume that comes with the contract itself. The 200 Gb option itself is free and runs for one month, there is no automatic renewal and from what I see you’ve also have a new date for the technician on the 3rd of May, so hopefully at that point you can just use your internet connection at home.
