I received a text with a technician appointment for today 24July & then received a text from O2

“Lieber o2 Kunde, trotz intensiver Bemühungen konnten wir die Beeinträchtigung leider noch nicht beheben. Wir gehen davon aus, die Beeinträchtigung innerhalb der nächsten 2 Tage zu beheben und melden uns sobald die Lösung erfolgt ist. Freundliche Grüße, Ihr o2 Team.”

But no technician has been yet, so how do O2 know the probatem cant be fixed when Telekom have to check it?? And do I still have an appointment???

Hi @Leky,

I assume this is an automated message that overlapped with your technician appointment. Was the technician on site yesterday?

Kind regards,
Alex

Hello @Leky ,

welcome to the o2 Community 💙.

From what I can see your connection is up and running now, I assume the technician was able to fix something yesterday during the appointment. Is the connection stable and do you get internet now?

Kind regards, Sven

Yes the technician did show, as thankfully Telekom sent me a link & I could still see the appointment, but the message from O2 came at 9:00 am on the appointment day. Very confusing.

I do now have internet and phone, but I am not very happy with O2 service and trying to report the problem was very difficult. I am deaf so having to use the telephone to do anything with O2 is problematic!!

I cant even change my handy phone plan online!!

Hello @Leky ,

it’s good that your internet ist working. You should be able to change your mobile contract through mein o2, you should register the contract and then login with it before doing so. If calling the hotline is an issue, then you can also contact us through the chat or ask here in the community.

Kind regards, Sven

Hi,

I have a PAYG and that apparently cant be changed online! I will be changing to a different provider so can you tell me how I can port my number to the new provider \?

Thanks

Hello @Leky ,

I’m not really sure what a PayG is, but depending upon when you want to port the number over it might have to be released over here and then your new provider can request the porting.

Kind regards, Sven

Pay as you go
