@Laabi3 you can change the tariff over the hotline or here over an o2 moderator. I strongly recommend this for you over o2 moderator here.
You don’t need to pay a tariff change fee, because you change to a higher tariff. Did you have a rent o2 router (what model) or an own router?

Also with your current DSL-tariff “o2 DSL M” your router “Homebox 2” is charged with 1,99 € per month. The 49,99 € that you payed at the beginning of your contract was only the one-time activation fee for the router.
Of course, you can keep your router. We will not exchange your router. But the monthly payment of 1,99 € will stay the same.

I have extended your DSL contract by 24 months and changed the tariff to o2 My Home L on 23.10.2020, which is the earliest possible date.
The extension of the contract and the change of tariff will be confirmed in writing. In the attachment to this e-mail you will also find, among other things, a revocation instruction. So if you decide to change your mind after all, that is no problem. The extension of the contract and the change of tariff can be cancelled within 14 days.

Hello! Currently I have the contract for the O2 DSL Classic S Professional and I would like to change to a XL tariff. Not necessarily a professional plan, since I don’t even know what’s the difference.
Can I do this online and how long does it take for the plan to start working? I have the fritzbox 7490 router.

unfortunately we co not offer the change of tariff für DSL contracts online. If you like, we can send you an offer :-)
Please have a look at the internet availability check for your address. If a o2 my Home XL with up to 250MBit/s is available at your address you will need a new router to reach this speed. The Fritzbox 7490 supports DSL speeds of upt to 100MBit/s, for higher speeds you will need an appropriate router like fpr example a Fritzbox 7530 or 7590. If you want to rent a router from us, this is possible, you can also use a suitable router that you bought on the free market.
Just tell us what you like, I am sure we will find an offer :-)
