Router is still being charged, even after sending it back to O2


I HAVE RETURNED O2 ROUTER FROM 26.1.2022 AND THEY ARE CONTINUING TO CHARGE ME FOR O2 ROUTER UNTIL NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (4 MONTHS ALREADY).  I HAVE N O T  SIGNED WITH O2 SUCH AGREEMENT!

I had a look into this issue and I think a solution is quite close. :-)

First of all the billing of the router has finally disappeared from your contract so after today, it should not appear on the invoice. Since the corrent date is not covered by your current invoice the router will appear one final time on your following invoice.

My suggestion is to credit you with the routers rent for four months, the invoices from february till the current one, should you find the router being biulled on the following invoice, just get in touch with us and we will of course also credit that one.

Would that be okay for you? :-)

Have you called the number shown here to ask?

I AM SHOUTING BECAUSE I HAVE USED THIS NUMBER 5 TIMES NOW (AT LEAST) W I T H O U T   ANY UNDERSTANDING! AND I AM ASKING AGAIN. HAVE O2 MY SIGNATURE IN SUCH AN AGREEMENT???????????? (THAT THEY WILL CONTINUE TO CHARGE ME FOR SOMETHING I AM NOT USING (ROUTER)). IT'S A PERFECTLY REASONABLE AND LEGAL THING, NOT TO CHARGE SOMEONE FOR SOMETHING HE DOESN'T USE.

No solution to the issue. No answer to ILLEGAL PRACTICES! (exclamation point is essential, when some people or responsible companies underestimate your intelligence). And I am asking again. Have we agreed (by facts), that somebody who is using his OWN router, has to be charged by O2? But I am not waiting for your answer. I already know how you deal with your customers.

Polemic statements are hardly going to help your case.

It depends on the contract you have with o2 and whether you agreed to pay the fee for a fixed period of time. If yes, then you can’t just send the router back and stop paying. What does your contract say?

Do you have the delivery confirmation as proof that the returned router actually reached o2?

It is of course possible that the charges are incorrect, but only an o2 employee can check that.

At first, thank you for your clarification. When somebody has make a lot of efforts like me for that issue for 4 months now(a really simple case), it’s impossible to be calm enough (but has the right, but also the obligation to himself, to insist). I have the delivery confirmation from 29.1.2022.  I have already contacted 5 times at least by telephone an o2 employee (every time a different one) without any solution. But thank you for your answer.

as promised I arranged to credit the routers rent, you will recieve a confirmation via email within a few days and should also see this on your following invoice :-)

No, until now.

I had a look into this, @iobers,

you should have recieved an information. Please have a look in you spam folder, it is possible that our email was trapped there :-)

But even without that email you will see the credit on the following invoice :-)
