Receiving invoices after having already cancelled o2 contract

Hi, I moved out of my apartment at the end of September 2023, gave a month notice and received confirmation of my cancellation. I already returned successfully the modem to O2 and I just found out I got charged for October-November. Can you please fix this issue and stop charging me? Thanks

Moin Moin,

When did the contract start?

A normal contract has a runtime of 24 Month. Only if you have a flex in the name the contract could be end with in a month.

If you do not left Germany you have to do a Umzugsauftrag.

If you just cancel a 24 Month contract that you get quit at the end of the 24 month.

If you have left Germany read this:

Thanks for your reply @schluej - my contract started on 15.06.2020, so that’s over 2 years. 

I am moving abroad but I don’t see why I need to provide any further documents since I already received confirmation of my contract cancellation.

Hope this unpleasant issue can be addressed as soon as possible, from other requests in this forum it looks like o2 does this quite often.
