I have O2 Homebox 6641 router. I want to go to router's webpage to know the IP addresses of connected devices. When I open 192.168.1.1 in browser, it asks me the password for router. I have attached the screenshot of it. I never set up password intentionally. So even if there is any password, I don't know it. So how can reset router password?

If there is another way to find IPs of connected devices, that would also do. Thanks.

You can do a factory reset - this will also reset the router password.

You can also find out the local ip address of a connected device on the device itself.

How to do a factory reset? And what are disadvantages of it?

I don't have access to display of connected device so I can not see its local ip address. So I will check it on router's webpage.

A factory reset erases all individual Settings of the router you did since you received it including the router Password and the PIN for Connection with O2. Most important is that you have your 10-digit PIN consisting only of numbers at hand so that you can reinsert it after the factory reset. Otherwise the router does not get any Connection to O2 - neither telephone nor Internet.

Good evening, please tell me where do I get the router password? I can never control and no information, the program always tells me to enter the router password. Please help me

The password for the o2 Homebox user interface is chosen by the user himself during the initial setup. O2 does not know the password you have chosen. Only you know where you wrote down the password you chose yourself.

Hello @BettyBei, welcome to our o2 community :-)

If you do not remember the password for the web interface the only solution is to set back the router to factory defaults.

Lars
