Hello I have been a customer of O2 DSL from past 1 and a half year in Magdeburg. Recently two representatives from Deutsche Telekom came and told us that in the building we are staying they are taking over from O2 and would have to sign a new contract with them.

We are not informed by O2 regarding this change and the representatives didn’t even tell us that when it would be done. They just said sometime in next month the connection will automatically be cut off and we have to switch as soon as possible.

This is very stressful for us two tenants since we speak basic german so we cannot explain this complex problem to anyone. Also we work from home and this sudden connection lost would make our work very difficult.

Thank you for your help.

This appears to be an attempt to receive commissions for signing a contract.

If there are important changes to your o2 DSL contract, your contractual partner o2 will inform you.
Since o2 obtains the DSL wholesale from Deutsche Telekom, the stories of the persons who probably did not identify themselves are not plausible.

Hi @ysa_05

Welcome to our o2 Community and please don't worry, nothing will change in your contract.

That were just  doorstep sellers doing aggressive marketing.

Just to be clear, you haven’t signed any forms or paper from these two representatives, did you?

Best Regards Matze
