Hello,
I signed two year o2 contract in Oct2012. After two years I wanted to terminate my contract, so I sent a cancellation request letter in Aug2014. But O2 did not process that letter( I got acknowledgement that o2 is working on my request, but my contract got renewed). This year I also sent a letter for termination but haven't got any acknowledgment. Is there any way I can cancel my contract. I am planning to move from Germany , and hence I want to cancel the contract.
Thank you.

As you have posted in neither forum, are you talking about a mobile or DSL contract? Either way your contract would have been renewed last year because you din't give at least three months notice. When did you send the letter this year? Do you have proof it was delivered?
Thank you for the reply.
I am talking about mobile contract. This year I have sent the request this month (13thAugust2015).

OK, I moved your question to the correct forum.
Your termination will be too late again this year if you only sent it on 13th August. If you are leaving Germany permanently, o2 will probably allow you to cancel the contract early out of good will on condition that you agree to pay 3 months line rental (Grundgebühr) from the date you move. There is a form for this that a moderator can send you in due course and you will need to complete this and send in various documents, in particular your deregistration from Germany and registration in the country you are moving to.

Wow...I thought the notice period changed to one month. Is there any way out of this;where I just send a letter, telling O2 to stop renewing my contract every year. Is there any possibility to change the tariff plan at-least. I am paying 20 euros/month.If I am no longer going to use it, at-least I can change the tariff plan.
If you signed a two year contract then after the initial two years it is automatically extended for another year. The notice period of three months doesn't change. If you don't want the contract to renew then you have to terminate it. As you have sent them a letter your contract should now be terminated in October 2016.
Changing tariff is possible but it would mean either extending the contract by 2 years and paying 19,99 or, if the contract term should stay the same, paying 99 Euros.
As you said you are leaving Germany the best thing would be to request early termination and just pay the three months. Should a moderator send you the form for this?
