I am writing this regarding the speed of the internet. When I purchased the connection in the starting of 2019, (o2 my Home S Plus) O2 promised me the speed (Datenübertragungsrate 25 MBit/s Download und 2,4 MBit/s Upload). But there was never such speed at my apartment. Max speed was around 12 MB/s for downloading. I have complained about this last time then O2 slightely reduced the fees. Form 15 euro to 11.98 euro. Now when contact renewed, you started fess of around 26.98 euro for internet connection which have a speed of 10MB/s downloading speed. Please have a look in to this matter.

The contractually agreed data rate for your tariff is 6-25 Mbit/s. You were informed of the data rate expected to be available at your chosen connection address in the order confirmation. The price for the tariff does not change if the maximum tariff speed cannot be reached for technical reasons at the connection address selected by the customer. Could you please check your DSL access data (which you find in your welcome letter ) . Does your Login / Username ends with XYZ@s92.bbi-o2.de or with XYZ@s93.bbi-o2.de
The important info is the number after the @. s92 indicates that you are using an adsl connection (slow), s93 shows that you are using a VDSL Port (a lot faster)
Could you please check, that would be very useful for troubleshooting.

@Joy12 Alright. Problem solved and Case closed
Please sent us your Name , Adresse and Date of birth via private Message to our @o2_Support User (for authentification) and we will take care of your connection.
We will order a VDSL Port Upgrade for your contract from your local provider. This takes about three to four weeks, but its free of charge and there is no tariff or contract change,
only a free technical connection upgrade from ADSL to VDSL.

But the price i have paid for last 9 months for such a low speed of internet, what will happen to that.
Do you think o2 tem will take about the such a high charge for low connection and all.
they provide the ADSL connection and all, do they do not know about the low internet speed for ADSL connection.
I only have used for the internet. there is no telephone.

was it my fault to have a slow connection. or the engineer from o2 have not checked the speed of the connection. when i complained 30 months ago, they did not changed from ADSL to VDSL but sligtly reduced the fees which i was paying. could you suggest me where should i contact for the complain and compensation.
