I recently moved to a new apartment in the same building. I called O2 to ask if I would need another appointment with Telekom to activate a connection but they said they have already activated the connection for the entire building so I can use the same router in my new apartment without any problems.

However, after restarting the router, I have still not been able to successfully connect to the internet even though the LED lights for LAN, WLAN, DSL, and Internet are green. Can you please help me with this? Thank you!

Sometimes when moving to a new address one stays in the same building. Nevertheless in such a case it is still necessary to move the DSL connection also. Without moving the connection it will not work.

You have the possibility to statr the moving of the DSL connection in the online portal under Mein o2 be selecting a “Umzug” for the DSL connection. You will be guided step by step through the process to move the connection so you will have access to your landline connection as soon as possible :-)
