Hello all,

I recently took 12 month internet contract from O2 with router. I am trying to do self installation and have connected DSL cable with the TAE socket but it seems the DSL light doesn't flash. I am using O2 Homebox Router 6741. Kindly suggest me what steps I can take?
How do I test if the Telephone Line is active as the HouseMeister says that all connections are ok. Is there anything that I can do with homebox router to fix this issue?

To be sure that there is no cabling error. Could you connect the Homebox directly to the TAE socket in the  distribution box. If you wound not get a DSL LED that you should call the O2 hotline.

Service number
089 78 79 79 40 0 (at landline rate)

Please call this service number from your mobile phone if possible, as troubleshooting may be necessary. The router may have to be restarted and calls from the landline network are interrupted.U should speak German or know some one who could.

Hello @Pulkit and welcome to our o2 community :-)

I merged your  two threads into this one so we don’t have answers spread over different threads :-)

If the router does not recieve any DSL signal the DSL light will stay turned off. The activation of the DSL connection already took place? Maybe everything is working already?

Regards,

Lars
