Hello, I moved a new flat 2 months ago and I transferred my DSL to new flat. A technician from Deutsche Telekom came on  beginning of December and he did nothing. He said internet is active and told me the sign. 

But I still can't access the Internet. Not just that when I called the hotline, service support told me that since my internet is active they cannot send a new technician. Currently I am paying my internet although I cannot use it. I followed every instructions to activate router. My internet does not work and I am working online. I need help!

 

 

 

Hallo, ich bin vor 2 Monaten in eine neue Wohnung gezogen und habe meinen DSL-Anschluss in die neue Wohnung verlegt. Ein Techniker der Deutschen Telekom kam Anfang Dezember und er tat nichts. Er sagte, das Internet sei aktiv und sagte mir das Zeichen.

Aber ich kann immer noch nicht auf das Internet zugreifen. Nicht nur, als ich die Hotline anrief, sagte mir der Service-Support, dass sie keinen neuen Techniker schicken können, da mein Internet aktiv ist. Derzeit bezahle ich mein Internet, obwohl ich es nicht nutzen kann. Ich habe alle Anweisungen befolgt, um den Router zu aktivieren. Mein Internet funktioniert nicht und ich arbeite online. Ich brauche Hilfe!

 

 

@ozancemyucel Which router is used exactly?  A DSL sync is certainly available.

are there more than 1 Phone sockets?

If not you have to call O2 and tell them, that you don’t have a Synchronisation!

The FRITZ!Box shows no DSL connection.

Don’t tell something from „No WLAN connection“ WLAN ist not the problem from O2!

 


@ozancemyucel Complete nonsense from the hotline.  A technical ticket must be taken up by the hotline because the Fritzbox 7590 has no DSL sync at the TAE connector.  (Low chance that your Fritzbox is defective) Please call the hotline again and say that the Fritzbox have no sync. Either the English-speaking hotline or the DSL hotline (with the help of a German-speaking person)

@ozancemyucel And from me too: You or another person should never use the words "Wifi/Wlan not working" at the hotline. Everytime say "no DSL sync with the Fritzbox"

I am very sorry that you are having problems with your new DSL connection. I took a look at your case. Your DSL connection was activated at the new address on December 19, 2022, so far everything looks fine.

If you like, you can download our o2 My Service App on your mobile phone, you may be able to use it to fix connection and configuration errors. It can also be switched to English.

If no connection is established, a failure should actually be reported to our technical support immediately. Please call the 08005251378 (free of charges). I recommend calling along with a German speaking person if possible as not all staff can speak English. They will check the connection and, if necessary, send a technician to you to repair the connection.
