Dear O2 (and community too, I guess),

I have been an O2 customer for many years, but the internet issues I have been experiencing over the last few months and especially now last few days, have been a complete nightmare. I get disconnected ALL THE TIME during the last few days. My internet is barely working. I already talked to O2 at least 5 times about this issue, and they’ve arranged a technician to come and check the line. He said that it wasn’t wired properly, and that electricians have to come and fix it (why can’t the Telekom technician do that?!). So I then arranged with my landlord that an electrical company came and fixed some connections that were faulty, and it was fine for some time. Now over the last few days, the situation has again deteriorated to the level where I can barely use my internet. I will not continue paying for my O2 contract if this is not resolved. And if I call the phone number for the support, my call fails after I say or type in my phone number. What the hell?!?

What kind of router are U using?

If U using a homebox what is the DSL LED doing while there is no internet connection?

Use the service app https://www.o2online.de/service/my-service-app/ While the connection is bad.

 


It’s an EasyBox. Right now the line is down again (at least 10 times a day), the DSL light is blinking. The O2 app displays the same as always, the old “turn it off turn it back on let’s wait for signal” routine. I’m losing my mind.


You havelock call the hotline. You lost the dsl sync. A Vodafone router is not the best choice!

That could be a part of the Problem.

Try to get a FRITZ!Box 7520.


I cannot get through the hotline, if I call it, the call fails after I have submitted my phone number. O2 Facebook support told me to just stay quiet and I’ll get redirected to an agent, but if I do that, the call fails nevertheless. Now what?


Do you call the English support?

Not able to use the internet services are not nice. Have you already tried another router? 
Were you already able to contact our english speaking hotline?
