Hi nice people,

I ordered a new DSL connection to my new flat and I got an offer to receive the sim card that I can use if the connection is not yet set up. It is free of charge, so no harm to not accepted the offer. I did received the sim card but never use it since no delay in my appointment.

I was checking my monthly bill and I need to pay additional 15€ for this sim card (which I never activate or use). Does anyone know how to cancel it? any experience with the same case? calling the customer service is quite a nightmare now, line is always busy.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @imaka and welcome to our o2 community :-)

If you sign fo a DSL connection we offer a mobile tariff that can be used free of charge for one month so you already have the possibility to access the internet even while the DSL connection is not activated.

This mobile tariff is a separate contract and you should have recieved information regarding this tariff via email. Since it is usually a Flex tarriff it can be canceled within 30 days notice.

If not canceled the free month will expire and you will be billed the normal fee for this tariff. If you do not wish to use this tariff I strongly recommend to cancel it as soon as possible.

Regards,

Lars
