Hi, My DSL connection is faulty and the technician did not come as planned yesterday. 

I also receive this message by SMS “o2 Info: The one-time connection price DSL pack was deactivated for you. Deactivation date: 30.03. ” Please help me fix this. I've been waiting for this appointment for a month.

Some notes:

  • My router set up is complete, it is a Fritzbox Fon 7360 given to me by the o2 store
  • I’ve updated the router to the latest firmware
  • I’ve tried registering my “zugangsdaten” with “O2 DSL” and also as an “anderer internetanbeiter” 
  • Below is an example of the format of my username.
  • I’ve tried setting no Vlan-ID, and also changing it to 7 or 11

None of these changes made a difference and I receive the error:

Die Prüfung der Internetverbindung ist fehlgeschlagen. Die DSL-Verbindung ist gestört. Prüfen Sie, ob das DSL-Kabel richtig angeschlossen ist.

 

Responses in German are okay, I can read better than I can write :)
