Hello everyone,

Since the first post went wrong I’ll start with: I am new to this type of issues, so every explanation is warmly welcome, please be nice to a newbie! Plus, my apologies for not speaking German, I'm working on that! :)

I live in a newly built road, in Berlin, the nearby road is server until the beginning of my road and further on, from the road I live 100mt perpendicularly on it's right in the road (not sure where the nearest cabinet is), I'd like to make a contract but if I search for my address on the website it doesn't obviusly appear and I cannot go further.

Currently I am served by another provider (they literally just installed the FTTH during the construction of the apartments and are giving out 1 month free of internet when moving in, so that's the reason. The thing is they are absolutely unrealiable (they don't have a support channel) and I'd rather not stay with them in the future, so I'd like to switch. I have a Genexis FiberTwist for the fiber cable termination and a Fritz!Box which I guess will go back to them.

My question would be, in this case what is the best to do? Should I wait for the road to be served in the future or are there any other option? I will ask further to the property, but maybe someone had a same experience to share here..

Thank you all in advance for the support! :)

Hello @Revengeic3,

a road and a building just built recently in many cases is not connected by every provider. I had a look into this, you already contacted our DSL department if I see this right and recieved the information that unfortunately we can not provide a DSL connection at this address.

I had a deeper look into this and found that the local provider that we are using for setting up the connection also does not over any connection except over mobile network.

It is possible that this will change in the future but we can not promise that the local provider that we are using as our partner will connect this building to its infrastructure anytime soon.

As of today we can only offer a connection over mobile network. If the building you are living in is connected to cable tv network it might be possible that we can provide a connection via cable. I can not promise that this will happen but it might be a possibility in the near future.

Depending on how soon you need your internet connection our possibilities right now are a bit limited :-/

Regards,

Lars
