I want to apply for new O2 Kabel connection. Is O2 offering any Kabel connection?

if a cable connection is available at your address (please use our internet availability check and press on the little “i” to see available access possibilities) you can simply order a cable connection online via our homepage :-)

Currently I have O2 DSL 50Mbps

if you want to move your DSL connection, the easiest way to do this is by phone. You can reach our English-speaking hotline on 089 66 66 300 81, Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm. Alternatively you can also do this online: www.o2.de/mein-dsl/umzug

Please note that it takes up to four weeks to install DSL at your new adress.

Online Mein App is not working it is continously given error (-1). I can only able to access via Website but from here I am unable to do move request.


Shall I terminate the DSL and buy Kabel internet?

I think it would be best if you call our support hotline to find out if your contract can be cancelled within short and if a new contract is more suitable.

Are you logged in at Mein o2 and in the App with your landline number? Then it should be no problem.

No, I am still unable to login in Mobile application. It is keep saying -1 error I also posted in community but no one helps.

as I have seen in your other thread, you are trying to login with a wrong username. You have chosen the username yourself and it is slightly different from what I see there.

I just changed my password again and I am able to login on web browser via username, email address and telephone number. 

But in application I am unable to login via username, email address and telephone number.


Hello @nakhtar,

there is a difference between the login for this community and the login for your contract. You are obviously trying to log in to the app with your community username. It doesn’t work for the app as you can only use it with the login for your contract.

Dear @o2_Giulia I have tried with my allocated number because initially I was loged in with my number.


Even I am trying to forget option via mobile application it is saying email address is wrong.


Hello @nakhtar,

the login for Mein o2 is the same as for the app and should be working for both. You have either your landline number or a word of your choice as your username, it is not an email adress.

Anyway, a change of the installation address cannot be requested via the app, so I still recommend calling our customer support.
