I will be cancelling my contract, as I have moved abroad.
I still have several questions that the website and employees have not been able answer in a very concrete way.
And because my friend travels a lot I am trying to plan around her travels and ensure that my router will be sent back in a timely way...
Once I email my cancellation, when do they issue a status of deactivation? Would this be 30 days after my initial email request?
I also understand that once deactivation status is issued that they then want the router to be sent back “early” or else I would incur additional charges for sending in the router too late. I asked the person, “What is early? Within 7 days? Within 14 days?”.
She kept reiterating “early”.
So does anyone know…..How many days do I have in order to send back the router without getting additional charges?
I am just trying to understand the interesting rules of O2 and avoid any unnecessary charges.
