@sbz please report a malfunction.  As feared, a fall back profile was switched in the DSLAM due to technical problems so that you are still online at all.

Hello @sbz, welcome here in our o2 community :-)

If the speed of the DSL connection does not reach the speed that the tariff offers there are several possible reasons.

To measure the speed it is always a good solution to use a computer that is connected via a LAN cable to the router while no other device is and no updates or downloads are running in the background.

Since @Joe Doe already gave the hint to look if the connection is running with a (slower) ADLS or the faster VDSL technology and you confirmed that it was a VDSL connection it is possible that thre are issues with the connection. If the speed has been higher before then there are some steps you may take. Have a look at our o2 my Service App, which may help in many cases.

If the app still brings no improvements our technical DSL team will be there for you, you may reach it by phone. If you do not speak any germa nat all I recommend calling with a friend of yours who does since we can not promise that you will reach an english speaking agent.

Regards,

Lars
