I have struggled with our internet since the anschluss day. Long story short: it has never worked. After endless talks with your hotlines, I gave up and sent a request for an extraordinary termination of my contract (on 26/9 through the online formula). On 7/10 it was confirmed by text message that the “kündigung is under review”.

How long will it take? We desperately need to have functioning internet again, and I do not want to risk find another solution only to be told that o2 rejects the termination, and then  end up paying even more. 
 

Please, can someone at O2 tell me what is happening?

Welcome back. By now the cancellation process is ongoing because the technical support did not really have the chance to repair the defective line. So the colleagues from the cancellation department sent a letter a fewe days ago asking for a callback. Have you already received the letter?

Thank you for replying.

I received a rejection e-mail from you on the 15th. 
I then called the number on the letter and talked to three different people. I am not sure what the result was, but my understanding was that they would re-open my request. Do I receive another letter, or what do you mean?


Also what does a callback mean?

well, the technical support re-opened the ticket waiting for a solution. They will get in touch with you as soon as they have a result.

Awesome! I guess we’ll wait two weeks more in this limbo, just to receive another rejection. Then we’ll start aaaall over. Can’t wait!
