I'm stuck abroad - How can I prevent my DSL from disconnecting?

Hi all,

I travelled abroad just before the lockdown happened and have since been stuck outside of Germany for the past 6 weeks. It is likely that I will not return to Germany for another 4 or 5 weeks.

My problem is that my DSL router in my apartment in Berlin has been unplugged all this time. I am worried that when I return, I will no longer have service on the line.

Is there anything 02 can do to ensure I don’t lose service? Or, when I return will I need to get re-connected?

I should add that I have been paying my bills in full for the time I’ve been away, of course!

Thanks for any advice you can give!

Hi @kris44,

welcome to our community. There is nothing to worry about your DSL connection. As long as the invoices are paid the services goes on. Maybe you should restart the router once you get back home.

Greetings
