Hey, today my contract with Vodafone ended, I was supposed to change my internet to Telekom, but due to technical reasons (on the part of the building owner) I will not be able to connect DSL. I wanted to buy cable from O2, but there is an option to choose the earliest date from February 1.

Is it possible to connect it very quickly, within a few days at most?

I have my own FritzBox router, and the connection was still working until today, so everything in the building is connected. I care about time, because every day without stable internet is for me a day without work.

Have you already ordered the contract from us? There is a possibility for an expressactivation which should shorten the time until you are online again, but for that the contract needs to be started with this option selected by an o2 Shop. You’d then receive a letter for us with instructions to connect your router to the cable socket and if the connection passes a few background checks at that point, the router has a connection and you can open the o2 landing page, then the date can be advanced forward. So there is a possibility, but it’s not something that we can ensure at this point in time.
