I am planing to move to a new apartment next month and will stay there for more than 3 years.

At my current place, I am already using DSL which expires in 5 months from now.

I am wondering if I should bring my current DSL contract with me and then make a new contract when the previous one expires.

At my new place, I will start to live with my partner and need to share the internet, so upgrading would also be necessary.

But if I do so, I will have to pay 50EUR just for transfer, so I don’t think of it a wise option.

According to  this page, the transfer fee vanishes if I extend my contract for another 24 months.

So, I am now wondering if it is possible to extend my DSL contract while moving (to save 50EUR) and then to upgrade my DSL contract to a better plan in the near future.

It would be nice if you have a better advice for this situation.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @ytbk

welcome to our community.

It is always a good idea to change the contract when moving to another appartment. Did you already get in touch with our customer service? You can apply for the move right there and also order the upgrade of your contract. You save the activation fee and get the new speed directly in your new appartment.

If you are in need of assistance please let us know.

Greetings
